Job summary

DERECKTOR OF FLORIDA, INC. seeks a Project Manager to plan, coordinate, and oversee marine repair, refit, and new-construction projects from planning through delivery.

You will manage shipyard resources, work with clients, internal departments, subcontractors, and vendors to complete projects safely, on schedule, and within budget. The role requires strong leadership, risk management, and familiarity with USCG and Marine Classification Society rules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent marine-industry experience.
• Experience managing marine repair/refit/new-construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of USCG and Marine Classification Society rules.
• Proven ability to coordinate multiple groups and vendors.
• Experience with budgeting, scheduling, and change management.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage refit, repair, and new-construction projects from planning to closeout.
• Define scope, budgets, schedules, milestones and deliverables with stakeholders.
• Review plans, specs, contracts and change orders to ensure clarity.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans and communicate progress to stakeholders.
• Coordinate internal resources, subcontractors and vendors to meet schedule and budget.
• Monitor performance and escalate issues; manage changes to scope and costs.
