Job summary

Derecktor is seeking a Project Manager to plan, coordinate, and oversee marine repair, refit, and new-construction projects from initial planning through completion and delivery. This role collaborates with clients, vendors, and internal departments to meet schedule, budget, and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years relevant marine trade experience.
• PMP certification is a plus.
• Marine Engineering or Naval Architecture degree a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee refit and new-construction projects from planning to closeout.
• Define scope, budgets, schedules, milestones with stakeholders.
• Review plans, contracts and change orders to ensure compliance.
• Develop detailed project plans and monitor progress with clients.
• Coordinate internal resources, subcontractors, and vendors to meet scope and budget.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Purchasing and Planning.
• Proactively manage risks and changes using formal review methods.
• Track design decisions, approvals, and client requests throughout the project.
• Ensure safety, quality standards, and regulatory compliance.
• Create project documentation and support closeout activities.
