Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years marine industry experience
• Or high school diploma with 10+ years marine industry experience
• Deep understanding of the maritime industry and vessels
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
• Proficiency in construction/project management software

Responsibilities

• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for flawless execution of projects
• Proactively manage changes in project scope and devise contingency plans
• Create project schedules and ensure resource availability and allocation
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
• Assist in defining project scope and objectives with stakeholders
• Develop a detailed project plan to monitor progress for clients and stakeholders
• Manage changes to project scope, schedule and costs with verification techniques
• Collaborate and communicate with various teams as needed
• Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
• Report progress and changes to management and production
• Manage client relationships and all stakeholders including vendors
• Perform risk assessment to minimize project risks
• Create and maintain project documentation
• Meet with clients to clarify requirements
• Delegate tasks based on skill and experience
• Track performance toward short- and long-term goals
• Meet budgetary objectives and adjust constraints
• Review billing and invoices for accuracy
• Ensure health and safety compliance
