Job summary

Arc Boat Company is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to own the design and integration of complex electromechanical systems across the vehicle lifecycle. You’ll work across mechanical, electrical, thermal, and manufacturing domains from concept through production.

You will drive requirements, CAD design, hands-on prototyping, analysis (FEA, modeling), validation, and production support in a fast-moving environment with occasional travel to test and suppliers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience owning complete mechanical or electromechanical systems.
  • Strong fundamentals in structural and thermal engineering.
  • Experience with CAD software such as NX, CATIA, or SolidWorks.
  • Experience with analysis tools such as MATLAB, Simulink, or FEA packages.

Responsibilities

  • Own the design and integration of electromechanical systems across the full vehicle lifecycle.
  • Collaborate across mechanical, electrical, thermal, and manufacturing domains.
  • Define requirements, specs, CAD design, prototyping, validation, and production support.
  • Ensure designs are manufacturable, serviceable, reliable, and suitable for real-world conditions.
  • Build, test, troubleshoot, and iterate hardware in fast-moving development environments.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, shipyards, manufacturing teams, and vessel operators.
