Job summary

Arc is seeking a Test Engineer to own component, assembly, and vehicle level prototype testing for our electric boats. You will define test plans, instrument test setups, execute testing, analyze data, troubleshoot failures, and work closely with design and manufacturing engineers to drive issues to closure.

We are building Arc's test capability from the ground up. You will draft procedures, assemble test stands, and support development and production testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
• 4+ years in electromechanical product development and testing.
• Proficient with CAD/FEA; NX preferred.
• Experience configuring data acquisition systems and instrumentation.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Valid driver's license.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Own development and qualification testing for electric boat subsystems.
• Draft test procedures and instrumentation plans.
• Build/test stands for development and production testing.
• Configure data acquisition systems for objective data.
• Collaborate with vehicle engineers to define test campaigns.
• Support test technicians to diagnose and repair prototype issues.
• Conduct bench and on-vehicle tests; travel up to 25%.
