BRP is seeking a Powertrain Calibration Technician to join the Marine Calibration team in Palm Bay, Florida. You will develop powertrain calibration for our marine products and contribute to product development to meet customer expectations and stay at the forefront of engine control innovations.

You will collaborate with calibration engineers on 4-stroke powertrain projects, participate in engine dynamometer testing, and drive on-water validation of calibration strategies under real-world

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical knowledge in engine operation, transmissions, and physics.
• Hands-on experience driving marine vehicles or mechatronic systems.
• Dynamic, motivated by technical challenges and passionate about recreational products.
• Onsite work in Palm Bay, FL; travel up to 10% as needed.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with calibration engineers on 4-stroke powertrain projects.
• Lead engine optimization testing on an engine dynamometer.
• Conduct optimization tests directly in boats and PWCs under real-world conditions.
• Instrument prototypes and ensure high-quality data collection.
• Contribute to ECU software development and powertrain architecture.
