Job summary

BRP US Inc. is seeking a Powertrain Calibration Technician for its Marine Calibration team in Palm Bay, FL. You will develop powertrain calibration for marine products and contribute to cutting-edge engine control innovations.

You will collaborate with calibration engineers, lead engine dynamometer tests, and conduct marine vehicle testing. Instrumentation, ECU development, data analysis, and reporting are key elements of the role.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in engine operation and related systems.
• Hands-on experience driving marine vehicles or mechatronic systems.
• Dynamic, motivated by technical challenges and recreational products.
• Onsite full-time work in Palm Bay, FL with up to 10% travel.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with calibration engineer on 4-stroke powertrain calibration projects.
• Lead engine dynamometer testing and optimize ECU calibration strategies.
• Perform marine vehicle testing under real-world conditions.
• Instrument prototypes and ensure high-quality measurement data.
• Contribute to ECU software development and powertrain architecture.
• Write detailed test reports and document procedures.
