Job summary

BRP is seeking a Senior Test Technician (Vehicle Validation & Instrumentation) to join the Laboratory team in Palm Bay, Florida. You will be the technical SME for planning, executing, and validating field and laboratory tests on prototype recreational vehicles throughout development.

You will translate engineering requirements into precise testing objectives, configure sensors and DAQ systems, and collaborate with Project Managers and engineering teams to ensure data integrity and regulatory

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years hands-on instrumentation and data acquisition for vehicle development.
Experience with a wide range of sensors and CAN bus configurations.
Ability to operate and maintain test benches and related equipment.

Responsibilities

Translate engineering requirements into testing objectives and instrumentation plans.
Plan, coordinate and run lab and external testing campaigns.
Configure and calibrate sensors and measurement equipment and analyze data.
Program data acquisition systems and manage data networks (CAN, XCP).
Run vehicle tests, capture telemetry, and support regulatory tests (ROHVA, ISO).
Identify data quality issues and propose improvements with engineering.
