Job summary

PCCI in Williamsburg, VA is seeking an Engineer II with 2–4 years of hands-on mechanical/marine engineering experience to design, maintain, and support load-carrying devices, hydraulic systems, and underwater ship repair equipment. You will work with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and contribute to upgrades, ensuring reliability and mission readiness.

The role reports to the Lead Engineer and is a 40-hour/day schedule with a competitive benefits package, paid leave, and base pay

Qualifications

• Two to four years of hands-on mechanical/marine engineering experience.
• Experience with load-carrying devices and hydraulic systems is preferred.
• Experience with underwater ship repair, salvage, or oil spill response equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze marine equipment and systems.
• Interface with fabrication, machine shop, and welding personnel.
• Develop and review engineering documents, 3D models, and drawings.
• Support field operations and contribute to equipment upgrades.
• Ensure safety and reliability of critical marine systems.
