Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marine or Mechanical Engineering and 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Fundamental understanding of mechanical, thermodynamic, fluid, or shipboard systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Works independently or on project teams.
• Performs calculations applying mechanical engineering principles and criteria.
• Develops analyses and prepares technical reports and documentation.
• Develops ship propulsion and auxiliary system calculations and designs.
• Supports systems such as propulsion, fuel, lubrication, seawater/freshwater, HVAC.
