Job summary

The Hanover Insurance Group seeks a Technician to support Inland Marine Operations in a hybrid role (2 days in the office) across multiple offices including Worcester, MA. You will process new business and renewals, handle endorsements, and coordinate with underwriting and offshore teams to ensure accuracy and timely processing.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in insurance or related customer service, strong attention to detail, and solid computer skills.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of related insurance, financial, or customer service experience.
• Basic understanding of insurance concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of product offerings.
• Strong computer skills (email, Windows).

Responsibilities

• Process new business, renewals and bypass renewals within quality standards.
• Provide clear and accurate issuance instructions to offshore team.
• Request additional information from underwriting and follow up to ensure items are handled timely.
• Process subsequent transactions (endorsements, adjustments, cancellations, reinstatements) per guidelines.
• Escalate system issues and ensure stakeholders are informed.
• Collaborate with Operations Manager to improve efficiency and service.
