Job summary

Jobtailor in Florida is seeking a senior Fleet Performance Manager to drive cross- fleet marine performance, standardize processes, and ensure data quality across shipboard teams.

You will partner with IT, HR and operations to align system roadmaps with maritime needs, improve defect management, and deliver executive-facing performance reports highlighting risks and opportunities. Travel to yachts and offices will be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in marine operations, fleet management, or related maritime role.
• Experience driving fleet performance and system adoption across multi-vessel operations.
• Working knowledge of marine digital systems, PMS, defect management, and issue tracking.
• Cross-departmental experience partnering with HR, Training, Safety and IT.
• Strong staffing model understanding, manning requirements and par level planning.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication; executive reporting experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive fleet-wide marine performance and establish performance expectations for shipboard teams.
• Identify fleet gaps and drive process improvement through standardization.
• Champion effective use of marine digital systems onboard with data quality focus.
• Monitor defect management and issue tracking systems (e.g., IssueTrax) and ensure timely action.
• Drive PMS engagement and data quality through shipboard teams.
• Partner with IT on system enhancements and roadmaps aligned with operational needs.
• Partner with HR to maintain fleet par levels and manning plans.
• Promote accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence across marine teams.
• Support Director of Fleet Performance with procurement, approvals, escalation, and coordination.
• Provide regular fleet performance reporting to leadership, highlighting risks and opportunities.
