Job summary

Mackay Marine in Seattle, WA is seeking a Field Service Coordinator/Dispatcher to connect clients with marine service technicians, verify ship arrivals, and dispatch parts to job sites. The coordinator communicates with all parties to resolve issues and ensure a smooth service experience.

Under the Service Manager, you will optimize depot logistics, monitor progress, and ensure timely invoicing and record keeping.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of dispatching or field service coordination experience.
• Excellent organization and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by promptly answering phone and emails and meeting daily service requirements.
• Call customers to check vessel schedules and verify progress.
• Validate customer credit and authorize invoicing as needed.
• Coordinate depot logistics to maintain continuity of work.
• Monitor service progress and send completion reports to customers.
• Assist with travel arrangements and after-hours coverage during peak seasons.
