Job summary

The Port of Portland is seeking a Marine Maintenance Planner to coordinate maintenance for Marine Facility Maintenance (MFM). You’ll plan, schedule, and track activities, work with managers and craft employees, and use CMMS and other systems to keep projects organized and moving.

Responsibilities include managing vendor contracts, improving business processes, tracking KPIs, and supporting IT-system alignment with maintenance needs. A strong team player with attention to safety is essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree plus 4 years in facilities management or related fields.
• Experience with maintenance planning and scheduling.
• Ability to obtain TWIC and a valid driver’s license.
• Proficient with CMMS and related maintenance information systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule Marine Facility Maintenance activities using CMMS.
• Administer vendor contracts and review processes with management.
• Identify and implement process improvements and KPI tracking.
• Provide administrative support and records management for MFM.
