Job summary

Systems Application & Technologies Inc is seeking a Marine Electronics Technician to provide Seaborne Targets O&M support at Naval Base Ventura County, Port Hueneme, CA. Requirements include a High School Diploma (or equivalent) and the possibility of technical training; DoD environment experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Technical school training or specialized training in the field or 4–6 years' related experience may substitute education.
• Military environment experience preferred but not required.
• Basic understanding of Computers/Networking/MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Maintain electrical and electronic components and readiness for a fleet of vessels.
• Perform electronics and electrical work on seaborne target systems and subsystems.
• Assist higher-level technicians in build-up or replacement of components and wiring harnesses.
• Qualify for and maintain PCCU Remote Control Operator certification.
• Test electrical circuits with a multimeter and fabricate AC/DC boards; troubleshoot radar systems.
• Maintain equipment logs, logs and time-tracking sheets; support PCCU operations at Pt. Mugu and deployed sites.
