Job summary

Systems Application & Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Electronics Technician, Maintenance I to perform basic electronics/avionics tasks on aerial target systems at Naval Base Ventura County, Point Mugu, CA. Tasks include component replacement, wiring, and testing with standard instruments under supervision.

The role requires a high school diploma, 3+ years of O&M experience, ability to read manuals, and a US DoD Secret clearance. Travel and safety training are included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three (3) years' experience in performing systems Operations & Maintenance (4790 Maintenance experience desired).
• Strong basic avionics/electronics skills; able to read and interpret maintenance manuals and technical data.
• Must be able to pass background screening and obtain/maintain U.S. DoD Secret clearance.
• Current Driver's License and ability to be insured for driving company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Perform electronics and avionics tasks on aerial target systems and subsystems.
• Replace components, wiring, and troubleshoot systems under supervision.
• Maintain equipment logs and maintenance action forms.
• Learn aerial target launch pad evolutions and support deployments.
• Work with safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
