Marine Crane Operator in Buford, GA. Responsible for performing heavy picks on a floating barge using a lattice boom or hydraulic crane, and operating various pile driving equipment. The role requires teamwork, adaptability, and a commitment to safety on the water. This position is essential to the smooth operation of our marine services.

What You Will Be Doing

• Picking heavy pipe, miscellaneous equipment, setting spuds on the barge, and driving sheets on land.
• Performing daily inspections on equipment to ensure proper function.
• Conducting routine cleaning and maintenance of the deck and equipment, including reporting any malfunctions or required repairs.
• Following all safety protocols, assisting in safety drills, and ensuring safety equipment is accessible and in good condition.
• Supporting other crew members in their tasks as needed, maintaining effective communication and teamwork.

What We Are Looking For

• Must possess an NCCCO Crane Operator License for lattice boom and hydraulic cranes (or equivalent certification).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience operating hydraulic lattice boom and crawler cranes.
• Basic understanding of rigging, working loads, and signals.
• Experience working from floating barges is desired.
• Willingness to work overtime.
• Basic Safety Training (BST) or equivalent certifications preferred; CPR and First Aid certifications are a plus.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills; able to follow instructions and work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Physical fitness and ability to perform tasks requiring lifting, climbing, and working in diverse weather conditions.
