Job summary

TurbineOne is seeking a Principal, Business Development Marine Corps to lead strategic Marine Corps opportunities and close key accounts. This remote-eligible role involves nationwide engagement with the Marine Corps, significant travel (~25%), and close collaboration with product and engineering teams.

You will translate military needs into actionable product and sales strategies, and drive revenue growth.

Qualifications

• You've served in the Marine Corps for over 20 years on active duty.
• Led major Marine formations and senior level staffs.
• Led technology-related projects for DoD to solve critical problems.
• Personally closed, signed or negotiated contracts >$1M.

Responsibilities

• Deliver new revenue to TurbineOne through direct sales to the U.S. Marine Corps.
• Identify sales opportunities and drive leads into the funnel with the Sales team.
• Negotiate contracts with pricing approval from the CRO.
• Translate national security requirements to Silicon Valley engineers and educate government buyers on best practices.
• Contribute to product and engineering roadmaps using military experience.
• Drive expansions with current customers.
• Support company strategy and market positioning.
