Orion Marine Group is seeking a laborer/helper to support skilled craft workers on marine project locations in Houston. You will assist welders, pipefitters and carpenters, move tools and materials, and help prepare work areas under supervision.

Responsibilities include assisting with setup, cleaning and basic finishing tasks, and ensuring safety standards are followed on site. This role requires reliable teamwork and physical stamina.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year construction or craft worker helper field experience required.
• Ability to communicate effectively and follow supervisor directions.
• Willingness to undergo safety training as required by customer or contract.

Responsibilities

• Support skilled craft workers such as welders and pipefitters on marine projects.
• Move materials and set up components, using hand tools and hoists as directed.
• Assist with basic cleaning, fitting, and finishing tasks on site.
