Job summary

Orion Marine Group seeks an Equipment Operator to support field construction on marine and heavy civil projects. You will work alongside crane operators, pile drivers, carpenters, welders, and laborers to safely move materials and operate earth-moving equipment on ports, docks, bridges, and waterfront sites.

The role requires the ability to work 8–12 hour shifts, weekends as production needs dictate, and a commitment to Orion's safety, quality, delivery, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of experience operating earth-moving equipment.
• Understanding of construction principles and procedures.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to work in constant change in weather and site conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate earth-moving equipment.
• Inspect equipment before and after daily operations.
• Perform routine maintenance and report malfunctions.
• Maintain safety and confidentiality as required.
• Work long shifts and weekends as needed.
