Guest Services, Inc. is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in daily operations and administrative management at our DC marina facilities.

You will supervise non-exempt and professional staff, cover MOD shifts, and promote profitability while ensuring guests have a high-quality experience. The role requires leadership, strong customer service, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• First aid and CPR certification.
• Ability to swim.
• 1-3 years of management experience; boating/marine experience.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Strong interpersonal, administrative and communications skills.

Responsabilités

• Assist in overall management of daily operations and opening/closing procedures.
• Supervise and schedule staff; train new employees; recruit and interview candidates.
• Oversee front desk operations and promote high-quality customer service.
• Be the point of contact for customer issues and maintain company image.
• Inspect facilities daily and report safety/quality concerns; ensure cleanliness and safety.
• Verify invoices, manage petty cash, monitor sales and assist in budgeting.
• Oversee inventory and merchandising; review plans with the GM.
• Promote the company through marketing plans and new client ideas.
