Job summary

TopSide Marinas in Bay City, MI, is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to care for our docks, equipment, and boats. You will operate lift trucks and rigging, perform carpentry and painting, and handle basic mechanical repairs.

This role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, the ability to lift up to 100 lbs, and the stamina to work outdoors in varied weather. Team oriented, with strong work ethic and reliability, you will contribute to safe, efficient marina operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Experience in maintenance and repair preferred.
• Must be able to meet physical requirements of the job.
• Must be able to work effectively in a team and independently.

Responsibilities

• Operate lift trucks, hydraulic trailers, travel lift hoist, aerial lift, and work boat.
• Perform minor carpentry and painting as needed.
• Perform basic mechanical repairs on equipment.
• Move and launch boats; secure boats moored at docks.
• Proficient in using hand tools and small power tools.
• Demonstrate good judgment and problem-solving abilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
