Job summary

Guest Services Inc. seeks a Boat Maintenance Mechanic responsible for supporting all marina services, ensuring quality control, and maintaining a clean, safe dock area.

The role includes caring for bathrooms and boat launching equipment, securing guests’ boats, and providing excellent customer service. Daily tasks cover engine, steering, electrical, and hull maintenance, with adherence to Coast Guard regulations.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates mechanical and electrical problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent customer-service mindset and communication skills.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Owns basic tools required for boat maintenance tasks.
• Willingness to travel to other units if needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on marina boats and equipment.
• Assist with engine oil changes, filter replacements, and inspections as scheduled.
• Troubleshoot propulsion, steering, electrical, and safety systems; repair or replace components as needed.
• Inspect Coast Guard safety equipment and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Provide safe, clean, and organized dock and work area; assist guests as required.
