Job summary

Safe Harbor Marinas is hiring a Facilities Assistant to perform a variety of maintenance and repair tasks across marina facilities. The role includes plumbing, carpentry, painting, and cleaning duties, along with landscaping upkeep and strong collaboration with staff, members, guests, and vendors.

The position requires a high school diploma (or equivalent), the ability to work outdoors and near water, and the strength to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to work outside and around water.
• Knowledge of dock construction and repair preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform general repair and maintenance related to the marina.
• Perform maintenance service and repairs in the areas of plumbing, carpentry, painting, and cleaning.
• Maintain landscaping as required.
• Developing and maintaining effective, friendly, professional working relationships with staff, members, guests and vendors.
• Carry out duties and responsibilities assigned by the Maintenance Manager.
• Availability to work overtime when required.
• Other duties as assigned by Manager.
