Job summary

The Marina Housekeeper at Acme Marina Management LLC is responsible for keeping equipment, amenities, locker rooms, and public areas clean and sanitary, both indoors and outdoors across the marina campus.

You will follow cleaning protocols, manage supplies, and work with a team to deliver a welcoming and safe environment for guests and staff.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitization of equipment and areas
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust assigned marina areas
• Clean and disinfect bathrooms, showers, and changing spaces
• Maintain supplies of towels, soap, and disinfectants
• Empty garbage containers and keep storage areas organized
• Immediately report complaints or concerns to management
• Follow safety, regulatory and sanitation policies

Job description

The Marina Housekeeper is responsible for ensuring equipment, amenities, locker rooms, and general areas are always clean and tidy.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

• Maintain the cleanliness and sanitization of all equipment
• Sweep, dust, mop, vacuum assigned areas of the facility
• Clean and disinfect bathroom areas, shower stalls, and changing spaces
• Maintain a sufficient supply of materials (towels, tissues, soap, disinfectants) throughout the marina
• Empty garbage containers in all assigned areas
• Ensure storage areas are clean and organized
• Immediately report any complaints or areas of concern to management
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory and sanitation policies
• Performs other duties as assigned or required.

Required Education and Experience

• Able to work both independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and targets
• 1-year prior housekeeping experience preferred
• Reliable with good time management skills and the ability to organize and prioritize work
• Strong communicator who can collaborate effectively with teammates
• Enjoys working with the public to provide exceptional customer service
• Adaptable to working in a fast-paced environment

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to exercise good judgment in evaluation situations and making decisions.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow cleaning protocols.
• Physical stamina for lifting, bending, and extended periods of walking.
• Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and safety standards.
• Work tasks may be performed both indoors and outdoors.
