Job description

Job Summary:

The Ship Store Attendant will handle the interior of the ship store, including but not limited to cash handling, cash register work, answering the telephone, stocking the shelves and cleaning. They will also assist customers on the marina dock.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

• Provide the highest level of customer and guest services
• Coordinate with the Manina Manager to ensure proper inventory levels of ship store
  products.
• Operates a cash register and credit card machine to ring up purchases, ability to make change, etc.
• Receive inventory and mark or tag price on merchandise
• Stock shelves, counters and display tables with merchandise
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory and sanitation policies
• Performs other duties as assigned or required.

Required Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Prior retail experience preferred
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and targets
• Reliable with good time management skills and the ability to organize and prioritize
  work
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic mathematical and computer skills.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to exercise good judgment in evaluation situations and making decisions.
• Work tasks may be performed both indoors and outdoors.
