Job summary

PORT 32 Marinas in the United States seeks a Marina Member Experience Specialist to assist members with their needs, provide information about facilities, reservations, and events, and help ensure a welcoming, clean, and safe environment.

You will support the General Manager and marina crew, deliver outstanding customer service, plan marina-sponsored events, handle inquiries by phone, email and in person, coordinate club house events, and maintain safety and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, required.
• Minimum 5 years customer service experience in a Marina or Hospitality environment.
• Experience in planning events.
• Must be able to read members needs and wants to consistently ensure delivery of a memorable experience to members and their guests.
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and targets.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Must enjoy working outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Assists General Manager and other Marina Crew Members in marina related with relations to the guest/customer experience.
• Provide the highest level of customer service to all guests and visitors.
• Assist with staff training as it regards to member service on a regular basis.
• Developing and maintaining effective and friendly working relationships with staff, members, guests and dealing with conflict effectively, courteously, and tactfully.
• Responding to member questions and needs via phone, email and in person.
• Planning events and Marina sponsored events both on and off property.
• Scheduling events planned for the clubhouse.
• Ensure any costs incurred are properly procured and billed as necessary.
• Dealing with conflict effectively, courteously, and tactfully.
• Routine administrative tasks.
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory and sanitation policies.
• Performs other duties as assigned or required.
