Job summary

Guest Services, Inc. is seeking a Recreation General Manager to lead a marina team, direct the management staff, and drive exceptional guest service. This role oversees docks, boat slips, equipment, rentals, and property while aligning with financial goals and company initiatives.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in management, boating or marine experience, and CPR/First Aid certification, plus strong MS Word/Excel/Outlook skills. Ability to swim and excellent interpersonal skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of management experience; boating/marine experience.
• Ability to swim.
• CPR/First Aid Certification.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to problem solve and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage daily operations; forecast sales, labor and profit; ensure budget compliance.
• Recruit, supervise, train, and direct unit staff and management.
• Maintain accounting records, daily reports, and cash control; manage P&L.
• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve complaints.
• Maintain safe facilities and oversee maintenance of docks, gear, and vessels.
• Represent the company professionally with clients, guests, and vendors.
• Prepare preventive maintenance programs and risk management plans.
