Suntex Marinas seeks a Dockmaster to lead dock operations, guest services, and safety at the Islamorada marina. You will coordinate dockhands, handle vessel coordination, reservations, and ensure secure marinas and vessels during inclement weather.

Qualifications

• Broad knowledge of marina operations, boat lifting, towing, and equipment maintenance.
• Ability to manage and motivate staff.
• Positive attitude with ability to communicate with customers in a luxury environment.
• Understanding marina documents such as agreements, contracts, terms and conditions, and marina regulations.

Responsibilities

• Sets and provides the highest level of customer/guest services and expedites any and all requests from vessels
• Schedules and manages all dockhands in marina related duties such as securing boats, fuel, black water pump outs, connecting and monitoring utility services, and waste disposal
• Performs daily inspection of the docks and coordinates with maintenance for repairs to maintain safety and cleanliness
• Routinely operates motor and water vehicles and other mechanized equipment
