Suntex Marinas is seeking a Lead Dockhand to greet guests, supervise dock hands, and coordinate boating services at the marina. You will help manage dock operations, ensure safety, and maintain a welcoming, clean environment for members and visitors.

The role emphasizes guest service, teamwork, safety compliance, and the ability to adapt to marina needs, including weekend hours and varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Must have prior experience as a dockhand.
• Ability to work independently to achieve goals and targets.
• Some knowledge of marina operations or willingness to be trained in them.
• Proven track record or innate ability to interface with customers positively and successfully.

Responsibilities

• Assist with leading a team of dock hands and supervising related operations.
• Assist customers and guests with general boating needs per the direction of the Dockmaster including but not limited to securing boats to docks, black water pump out, waste disposal, and general facility sanitation.
• Provide the highest level of guest service creating the best and most memorable experience for both customers and members.
• Comply with all OSHA and environmental regulations, adhering to all site rules, processes, policies, and expectations, including proper wear of PPE as required for a specified task or work area.
