Job summary

Guest Services is seeking a Dockhand Crew Leader to oversee dockhands and assist with marina services, quality control, and cash handling. You will ensure a clean, safe dock area, assist boaters with fueling and docking, and report to the DockMaster.

Requirements include a HS diploma or GED, CPR/First Aid, and the ability to swim or wear a PFD. You must be able to read and write in English and handle cash accurately in a fast-paced outdoor environment.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service abilities; actively looks for ways to assist customers and coworkers.
• Must be able to swim or be willing to wear a personal flotation device while on duty.
• CPR/First Aid Certification.
• Reading and writing work-related documents in English.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Dockhands; ensure tasks are delegated and completed in a timely manner.
• Fuel boats while maintaining a safe environment and following procedures.
• Pump out boats.
• Maintain Marina upkeep: cleaning, weeding, trash removal, supplies.
• Provide excellent customer service and direct issues to supervisor or unit manager.
• Assist with docking of boats.
• Identify items and costs; tabulate bills; operate cash register or price equipment.
• Issue receipts, refunds, or change accurately.
• Maintain cash register and contents.
• Report safety issues to manager.
