Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Margin Manager to maximize company profits through close collaboration with Information Technology, Finance, Sales, Marketing, Procurement, and Operations. You will analyze pricing, costs, and bids, driving margin improvements while supporting sales initiatives and contract compliance.

The role requires strong communication, analytical skills, and experience in procurement or product costing within the foodservice sector.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience.
• 4-6 years' experience in procurement, food sales, marketing contract administration and/or product costing experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in logistics, marketing, accounting or related area.
• 6-10 years' experience in procurement, food sales, marketing, contract administration and/or product costing experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage gross margins including GP percentage and dollars by item and by drop.
• Implement and maintain Burden/Standards on new and existing items.
• Perform financial analysis; monitor cost and pricing to maximize margins while growing sales.
• Evaluate bid items for contract maintenance and ensure cost correctness for bids.
• Advise sales management on actions to improve margins and support pricing decisions.
• Coordinate with Procurement to optimize inventory cost adjustments and best practices.
• Interact with Senior Management on customer rebates/discount programs.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
