Job summary

STEEL CRAFT is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to lead gross margin reporting and analytics across plants, product lines, and customers. You will partner with plant managers and operations leadership to translate data into concrete margin improvements, driving profitability and competitive advantage for the organization.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
Strong analytical skills to interpret complex financial data.

Responsibilities

Lead gross margin reporting across plants, product lines, and customers.
Build and maintain dashboards showing margin drivers (material, labor, scrap, freight, overhead, price/mix).
Perform variance analysis comparing actual vs. standard/budgeted margins and identify root causes.
Monitor margin trends by SKU/customer to identify erosion or improvement.
Translate findings into prioritized margin improvement opportunities and track impact.
