Job summary

Performance Foodservice in the United States seeks a Margin Manager to maximize profits by overseeing margins, pricing, and cost controls across procurement, sales, and operations.

You will coordinate with IT, Finance, Sales, Marketing, and vendors; analyze orders for price discrepancies; and recommend actions to protect margins while supporting growth.

This role requires strong organization, communication, and leadership, with procurement and product costing experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage sales margins including gross profit percentage, dollars, per case and by drop; monitor profit by staff and customer
• Implement and maintain burden/standards on new and existing items
• Perform financial analysis; analyze daily orders for cost errors or price discrepancies; monitor cost and pricing by category; provide profit-enhancing recommendations
• Evaluate bid items for contract maintenance and margin maximization; ensure cost correctness for bids
• Advise sales management on margin improvements; collaborate with Sales to grow sales and manage pricing deviations
• Coordinate with Procurement to maximize inventory income; implement cost administration best practices
• Evaluate and interact with Senior Management on customer rebates/discount programs
• Perform other related duties as assigned
