Performance Food Group is seeking a Margin Manager to maximize company profits by closely coordinating with IT, Finance, Sales, Marketing, Procurement, and Senior Management. Strong communication with vendors and internal teams will be essential to sustain healthy margins and drive cost improvements.
The role involves analyzing orders, validating costs for bids, and recommending pricing adjustments to improve profitability while supporting the company’s broader objectives.
Performance Foodservice, PFG's broadline distributor, maintains a unique relationship with a variety of local customers, including independent restaurants and hotels, healthcare facilities, schools, and quick-service eateries. A team of sales reps, chefs, consultants, and other experts builds close relationships with customers - providing advice on improving operations, menu development, product selection, and operational strategies. The Performance team delivers delicious food but also goes above and beyond to help independent restaurant owners achieve their dreams.
We Deliver the Goods:
Responsible for maximizing profits of the company. Interfaces heavily with internal staff including Information Technology, Finance, Sales, Marketing, Procurement, Warehouse Operations, Senior Management staff, corporate personnel, vendors and other PFG -Broadline OpCo Margin Managers. Effective communication skills with vendors, brokers, sales and purchasing departments, along with strong organizational and time management skills. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and performs any duty assigned to best serve the company.

High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience.
4-6 years' experience in procurement, food sales, marketing contract administration and/or product costing experience.
