Job summary

Madison County Government is seeking a Workforce Coordinator to support employer outreach, recruit participants for JTED, WIOA and related programs, and coordinate work-based learning opportunities such as internships and on-the-job training.

You will develop partnerships with employers, educational institutions, and workforce partners to align training with local labor market demand and ensure successful placement and retention through comprehensive career navigation and ongoing support.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Business or Social Services, or manufacturing experience.
• Sits for extended periods and occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate employer outreach and work-based learning activities.
• Recruit, assess, and enroll participants into JTED, WIOA, and related programs.
• Provide comprehensive career navigation and ongoing participant support.
• Coordinate referrals among workforce partners and educational providers.
• Collect performance data and ensure grant compliance.

Education

Associate's degree or higher in Business or Social Services or experience in manufacturing
