Job summary

Madison College seeks an Associate Vice President, Workforce Innovation and Community Education to oversee contract training and community education. The role builds internal and external partnerships, leads teams, and aligns programs with regional workforce needs and open enrollment interests.

Reporting to the Executive Vice President for Policy and Strategy, this role drives learning opportunities, strengthens credit/non-credit connections, and advances regional economic growth in southcentral

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 7+ years of relevant professional and progressive work experience including people management.
• Ability to travel occasionally to client sites across the Madison College district.

Responsibilities

• Leads, supports and develops teams to ensure accountability of institutional objectives and operational excellence.
• Contributes to budgetary, financial and procurement decisions ensuring fiduciary responsibility.
• Directs managers and oversees strategy development, planning, staffing needs, and community partnerships.
• Collaborates with internal and external leaders to develop non-credit-to-credit pathway programming.
• Develops and implements collaborative policies and procedures within the unit.
• Leads strategic partnerships with business, industry, public agencies, and community organizations.
• Manages program operations, personnel and compliance with policies and accreditation standards.
• Oversees professional development and personnel matters within the unit.
• Leads collaboration with Grants Office and Academic Affairs to align funding opportunities.
• Serves as unit lead for facilities planning and strategies to support learning and development.
