Job summary

Dwyer Instruments, PTY is seeking a Warehouse Lead to oversee daily warehouse operations in a manufacturing setting. You will coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, supervise staff, and ensure organized storage and safety compliance.

Responsibilities include leading receiving, storage, picking, packing, shipping, cycle counts, and process improvements to boost efficiency. Strong communication and 1+ year supervisory experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2–5 years warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 1+ year of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control and warehouse operations.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment (forklift certification preferred).
• Basic computer skills (ERP/WMS systems, Microsoft Office).
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of materials and finished goods.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials to production lines.
• Monitor inventory levels and maintain high accuracy through cycle counts and audits.
• Train, mentor, and support warehouse team members to meet performance and safety expectations.
• Enforce company policies, safety procedures, and regulatory compliance (e.g., OSHA standards).
• Collaborate with production, shipping, and quality teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Identify process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize space utilization.
• Operate and oversee the use of warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, scales, pallet jacks).
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse conditions (5S principles preferred).
• Assist in scheduling and assigning daily tasks to warehouse personnel.
• Help all employees understand policies and procedures and brings issues to supervisor if there are concerns or violations.
• Maintain an effective dialogue with all employees to foster good employee morale.
• Any other duties assigned by supervisor.
