Job summary

Dwyer Instruments, PTY is seeking a Materials Manager who links material planning, production scheduling, supply chain strategy, and shop floor execution to create a stable, predictable manufacturing environment. This role focuses on delivering on-time shipments, optimizing inventory, and enabling operational excellence through strong daily management and cross-functional coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years in materials management, production control, or logistics.
• Experience leading teams across scheduling and warehouse functions; 3-5 years supervisory preferred.
• Strong ERP/MRP experience; Lean / Continuous Improvement experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage teams across scheduling, shipping, receiving, warehouse, and inventory control.
• Own creation and execution of production schedule to meet customer demand; ensure schedule adherence.
• Coordinate material flow including kitting, staging, and replenishment; resolve shortages and bottlenecks.
• Oversee inventory control processes to maintain accuracy and optimal levels; minimize excess/obsolete inventory.
• Lead shipping/receiving operations; optimize logistics for cost and on-time delivery.
• Support sourcing and supplier performance to mitigate risks and improve lead times.
• Identify disruptions; drive rapid escalation and cross-functional resolution to remove constraints.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and provide ERP/MRP-based reporting.
