Job summary

Dwyer Instruments Inc. in Kingsbury, IN is seeking a Production Coordinator to supervise the production of finished goods, sub-assemblies and components, reporting to the Plant Superintendent and ensuring schedules are met at competitive costs.

You will analyze schedules, train and supervise Flexible Assemblers, troubleshoot assembly issues, maintain productivity, administer disciplinary measures with approval, and maintain open dialogue with staff to deliver timely, quality service to customers.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of products manufactured at the plant and assembly methods.
• Ability to maintain productivity and quality levels as required.
• Ability to plan and achieve production schedules via effective supervision.

Responsibilities

• Analyze schedules to determine material and labor requirements.
• Train and supervise Flexible Assemblers for component and final assembly areas.
• Work with Flexible Assemblers to manufacture products meeting quality criteria and troubleshoot issues.
• Maintain plant productivity through efficient use of equipment, materials, and labor.
• Administer disciplinary measures with approval of the plant manager.
• Foster effective dialogue with all employees to maintain morale and address complaints.
• Provide timely and quality services and support to internal and external customers.
