Job summary

Vertiv in Pelzer, South Carolina is seeking an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer to lead multiple NPDI-driven projects at the Pelzer Operations, focusing on product transfers, new product introductions, and manufacturing process improvements.

You will collaborate with Design Engineering and Operations to enforce global manufacturing standards, drive capital projects, and standardize methods across Vertiv plants, delivering efficient, scalable manufacturing solutions.

Qualifications

• BSME/IE/Business Operations Management degree required.
• 3–5 years manufacturing experience.
• MSME/IE/MBA and 5+ years Advanced Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma training or certifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee multiple NPDI-related manufacturing projects.
• Coordinate product transfers and new product development programs.
• Develop and implement manufacturing plans for new products.
• Improve plant-to-plant transfers and standardize processes.
• Identify and pilot advanced manufacturing technologies.
• Support cost analyses and capital projects.
