Job summary

Hazelett Corporation, a global leader in continuous metal casting technology, seeks a Manufacturing Training and Workforce Development Specialist to develop and deliver practical employee training across our manufacturing operations. You will work with managers and technical experts to create materials, teach staff of varying experience levels, and strengthen skill development.

You will also build relationships with schools and training programs, creating opportunities for students to learn

Qualifications

• Experience developing and delivering training in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to explain technical information clearly to learners of different backgrounds.
• Strong organization and time management to coordinate multiple projects.
• Initiative to work independently and collaborate with technical experts.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Acrobat.
• Flexibility to adjust schedule for second/third shifts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver practical training materials on topics like safety, math, GD&T, and Hazelett equipment.
• Teach employees individually and in groups, adapting to experience levels.
• Create quizzes, exercises, and checks to identify training gaps.
• Develop presentations, videos, and LMS resources.
• Coordinate with managers to identify training needs and schedule around production.
• Engage with schools and partners to build student/community programs.
