Hazelett Corporation is a global leader in continuous metal casting technology. We design, manufacture, and assemble our machines in-house, bringing together skilled people across manufacturing, engineering, and other teams. We are committed to helping employees develop their skills and introducing students to careers in manufacturing.
The Manufacturing Training and Workforce Development Specialist develops and delivers practical training for employees across our manufacturing operations. You will work with managers and technical experts to create training materials, teach employees with different levels of experience, and help strengthen the way we develop skills at Hazelett.
You will also build relationships with schools and training programs, creating opportunities for students to learn about our work and explore manufacturing careers.
This is an onsite position with a regular schedule of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional schedule adjustments are needed to provide training to employees on second and third shifts.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate degree in Manufacturing Technology, Industrial Technology, Training and Development, Education, or a related field is preferred.
At least five years of experience developing or delivering training in a manufacturing environment with a high school diploma or equivalent, or at least three years with a related associate degree.
Experience creating technical training materials and teaching both individuals and groups is preferred.
Experience working with schools, technical centers, or workforce development programs is a plus.
You enjoy helping people learn skills they can use in their work. At Hazelett, you’ll work alongside experienced employees and technical experts to turn specialized knowledge into practical training. You’ll also help students see what a career in manufacturing can look like through tours, job shadows, and partnerships with local schools. Your work will connect employee development with the future of our workforce.
The base pay range for this full-time position is $65,000 –$80,000 per year. Your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. In addition, our ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
