We are seeking someone with experience in the continuous casting industry to join our Process Engineering Team. At Hazelett a Process Engineer utilizes their understanding of continuous casting, metal chemistry, and metallurgy to assist our customers in optimizing their twin‑belt casting process and driving continuous improvement. Internally we advise our engineering design teams and educate our colleagues on Hazelett history and current technology.
Duties will be carried out at customer and supplier sites, in an office environment, and manufacturing production floor as required, which might include occasional exposure to fumes, noise, and gases from equipment or machinery. They must be able to work in these environments for extended periods of time and be able to do light lifting. The employee must utilize personal safety equipment when working in any production environment. Extensive travel to attend meetings and visit customers is required.
The base pay range for this full‑time position is $140,000 – $150,000. Your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. In addition, our ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
