Job summary

Superior Essex Inc. is seeking a Training Specialist in Franklin, Indiana to develop and implement formal training programs for hourly and salaried employees, including safety training and manufacturing processes.

The role focuses on analyzing training needs, curriculum development, and coordinating daily training operations to ensure effective program delivery at the Johnson Cnty plant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred.
• Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
• Analytical and assessment capabilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• CPLP certification is a plus.
• Experience training and public speaking in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with management to identify training needs and organize programs.
• Design and manage systems for organizing training documents.
• Maintain document control per IATF/ISO standards.
• Lead groups in developing procedural and job instruction materials.
• Facilitate New Hire Orientation.
• Schedule training to meet facility demands.
• Select and develop teaching aids such as videos and manuals.
• Report on training progress and assess program effectiveness.
• Train on PIVs (pull/push, sit and stand-up models).
