Job summary

Plymouth in Mississippi is seeking a Training Coordinator to assist Operations with the development, implementation, and oversight of training for all production associates. You will work with department supervisors to ensure safety, quality, productivity, and performance expectations are integrated into the training program.

You will help document new training processes and develop materials aligned with company standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree in manufacturing, training, quality, or related field preferred.
• Experience training, coaching, mentoring in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to train employees with varying levels of experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate training schedules for new hires and transfers based on mill training requirements.
• Conduct on-the-job, refresher, safety, and job-specific training sessions.
• Develop and maintain training processes, work instructions, standard work, and certification materials.
• Administer written and practical tests to measure knowledge and readiness for certification.
• Monitor training effectiveness through tests, observations, and metrics.
• Maintain training records and metrics to track progress and identify gaps.
