Job summary

The Pivot Group Network in Grand Haven, MI is seeking a Training Manager / Coordinator to design, deliver, and manage technical training for manufacturing personnel. You will coordinate external vendors, maintain training records, and optimize programs to raise safety, quality, and skills across production teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Education, HR, Business Administration, or related field required.
3+ years of training development and delivery experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
Experience designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs (safety, quality, technical skills).

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver technical training programs for manufacturing personnel.
Coordinate external training vendors and manage training schedules.
Maintain accurate training records and employee certification documentation.
Conduct training needs assessments to identify skill gaps within production teams.
Evaluate training effectiveness and continuously improve program content and delivery.
Manage the Learning Management System (LMS) for course assignments and tracking.
Create and update training materials, including presentations, manuals, and job aids.
