Job summary

Medix is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Training Lead in Minnesota to train and support employees on the production floor. You will lead new-hire onboarding, cross-training, and ensure SOPs, GMP, and quality standards are followed while driving continuous improvement in workflows.

Ideal candidates have electromechanical assembly experience, strong leadership, and the ability to act as a go-to resource for production issues, guiding teams to higher efficiency and product quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Hands-on electromechanical assembly experience.
• Experience with multiple assembly and testing processes.
• Knowledge of GMP, ISO, QMS, and manufacturing documentation.
• Strong computer skills including MS Office and ERP/MRP use.
• Ability to troubleshoot, follow procedures, and maintain documentation.

Responsibilities

• Train new hires and current employees on assembly processes, testing procedures, and daily production tasks.
• Provide hands-on coaching, feedback, and additional training as needed.
• Ensure SOPs, GMP, safety requirements, and quality standards are followed.
• Maintain training records, track progress, and update training matrices.
• Monitor production processes, identify training gaps, and improve workflows with teams.
• Assist with troubleshooting day-to-day production issues as SME on the floor.
• Keep training materials up to date with product, equipment, and process changes.
• Identify opportunities to improve production efficiency, quality, and performance.
