Actalent seeks an Electro Mechanical Technician for an on-site role in Rogers, MN, to assemble and test electro-mechanical products and support medical device manufacturing. The position offers day and night shifts with overtime opportunities in a casual team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Clear ability to communicate in English, verbally and in writing.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with components and assemblies.

• Reliable attendance to support production needs.
• Willingness to learn and cross-train others on assembly tasks.
• Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, and electro-mechanical concepts.
• Hands-on assembly experience including soldering and using hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test a wide variety of electro-mechanical products using detailed work instructions and procedures.
• Perform electro-mechanical system assembly, including device builds, software installation, laser marking, and electrical cable assembly as needed.
• Solder wires to printed circuit boards in accordance with quality and safety standards.
• Perform functional acceptance tests to verify that products meet required specifications and performance criteria.
• Identify and solve assembly issues, escalating when necessary, and offer suggestions for process and product improvements.
• Communicate effectively with fellow assemblers, engineers, and leadership to coordinate work, clarify requirements, and resolve issues.
• Help cross-train other assemblers on various tasks to support a flexible and versatile production team.
• Apply mechanical, electrical, and electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills to support efficient and accurate product builds.
• Follow established procedures and work instructions consistently to ensure compliance with applicable standards and customer requirements.
• Maintain good attendance and reliability to support production schedules and customer commitments.
