Job summary

WestRock Company, Inc. is seeking a Technical Trainer in West Chester to support local training programs and partner with the Learning & Development Manager and operations to ensure Operator and Craft certifications are available.

You will serve as a primary trainer for new hires and tenured teammates, collaborating across site leadership to sustain effective on‑the‑job training and skill development across shifts.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years’ experience conducting/leading training in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• 2-4 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Knowledge of Learning Management Systems preferred.
• Microsoft Office experience preferred: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Forms.

Responsibilities

• Assist with New Hire Orientation, Onboarding Training and On the Job Training.
• Assist with training tracking, evaluation and measurement locally.
• Support learning solution creation and content updates as needed.
• Develop and maintain relationships with all levels of plant personnel.
• Conduct training on all shifts.
• Promote safety-mindedness among staff.
• Lead certification processes per training standards and collaborate with Ops L&D.
